Tasty Tuesday: Easy Pasta Salad

Easy Italian Pasta Salad

Ingredients:
Rotini Pasta - 1 box
Italian Salad Dressing - 1/2 cup
Tomato - 2 small
Cucumber - 1 medium
Red Bell Pepper - 1 large
Purple Onion - 1/4 large
Sliced Black Olives - 1 small can

1. Cook, rinse and drain 1 box of pasta.
(I like to use rotini pasta)

2. Toss with 1/2 cup of your favorite Italian salad dressing.

3. Chop and strain 2 small tomatoes. Add to pasta.

4. Chop 1 cucumber into mini bite size pieces. Add to pasta.

5. De-seed and chop 1 red bell pepper. Add to pasta.

6. Chop 1/4 of a large purple onion. Add to pasta.

7. Add 1 small can of drained sliced black olives to the pasta. Salt and pepper to taste. Toss everything togetehr. Chill covered for 6 hours. Serves six.

Elite Model Look Casting Day One: Lakeside!

The waiting is finally over - The Samsung Diva Elite Model Look road show kicked off on Saturday at Lakeside Shopping centre in Essex. The day passed in a blur of Toni & Guy blow outs, fluttery Eylure lashes, DIVA phones, a Warehouse instore after-party (thank you Artisan cupcake company http://www.theartisancupcakecompany.com/ ), photo sessions and catwalking so thanks to all of you who came down and took part! 


We found 8 fabulous winners in Essex who we are going to take with us to the next stage so congratulations to Becca Rimmer, Rachael Graham, Phoebe Drain, Amelia Palmer, Chelsea Baird, Jayne Lymer and Emillie Rix, we shall be seeing you in London soon! We are so excited to announce that we will have a new release on Friday, 2 April!!!

The sneak peeks will begin on Wednesday, 31st March on the Divas Blogs!! We will have links to the participating blogs listed here, too. The peeks will continue on Thursday, 1st April.

There will be a Blog Hop here beginning at 12:01 EST/5:00am GMT on Friday April 2nd. Then at 7:00 am/noon GMT the stamps will go live in the stores with links here on the blog.

It's Friday, so it's time for another Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge!! But before we get to this week's challenge...guess what will happen NEXT Friday?!

How about a new release and Blog Hop?! Yay!!

The sneak peeks will begin on the DT blogs starting on Wednesday, March 31st. They will continue on Thursday, April 1st. Then at midnight EST/5am GMT on Friday morning, we will host another blog hop!

At 7am EST/Midday GMT Friday, April 2nd the stamps will go live on the blog and our stores!!

Easter Basket #3 - Use up your scrap papers!

Use up your scrap papers and create tattered paper flower embellishments. They are perfect for adding pop to a plain Easter basket.

They can used in tons of ways!

- tie on to gift packages
-create placecard holders by attaching a name tag
-add a pin back for a broach
-attach wire stems to make vase style flowers
-hot glue to a headband
-scatter across an entry way table
-glue around spring wreath

Materials:
2782 - FolkArt - Extreme Glitter - Hologram or Mod Podge
5 or 6 different prints of scrapbook paper
Foam paintbrush
Wax paper
Large rhinestone (one for each flower)
Hot glue
Ribbon
Easter Basket

Steps:
1. Tear the papers into random circle shapes in various sizes. The largest should be around 3 inches and the smallest about 1.5 inches. The idea is to tear an organic shape, don't worry about creating perfect circles. You will need about 5 or 6 circles per flower.

2. Place the circles print side up on the wax paper. Coat each circle with 2 layers of extreme glitter.

3. Once dry, hot glue the circles in a graduated layer fashion. Hot glue a gem to the center of each flower.

4. Add ribbon embellishment to the Easter basket with hot glue. Hot glue the flowers across the center front of the basket.
