New additions to the Design Team

Hello stamping friends!!

If you are looking for the current challenge, click here.

Well, it took MUCH longer than expected to pick the new additions to the Design Team!
There were so many lovely entries and it was so hard to choose.
Thank you so much to everyone who applied to the DT Call.

We are here today to announce the new team...

Dawn Baty - US/Canada Team (Missouri)

Hello! My name is Dawn. I've been married for 21 yrs to my wonderfully supportive husband. We have two kids, daughter who is 14 yrs and a son who is 10 yrs old. They keep us busy with school activities. I'm also a caregiver who works from home. And I love my job.
When I'm not working I love creating cards, it's a great way to unwind after a busy day. Just being able to sink my fingers into scrappy/craft goodies does it all. Also I love to gardening and doing many outdoor activities.
I'm excited to be part of the Wags N Whiskers Design Team.

Here is a gorgeous card created by Dawn using "With Love"

Tammy Louise - US/Canada Team (Michigan)

I am a Gerber Daisy loving Marilyn Monroe wanna be. I live in Michigan with my husband of 24 years, my teen autistic son and 2 of the cutest four legged long haired mini doxi's on the planet, (well in my opinion anyway). My crafting started at 8 or 9 years old, crochet, painting, floral design, ceramics, cross stitch, and I made sure to sew most of my childrensHalloween costumes. I think I've done just about everything except interior design, then again, I think my husband would disagree! hehe. I've been creating greeting cards about 10 years now and have been very fortunate in meeting the vendors that retail my birthday, anniversary, valentines day and thinking of you creations. Only 2 years ago I found a retailer for some of my more vintage, animal and boutique style cards. I sell cards in 5 or more craft shows a year. I've never found a technique class I could pass up because I love to learn, experiment and socialize with other crafters. We are the friendliest and happiest people I've ever met. Maybe because we do what we love! I leave an inspirational though for the day every day on all my posts because while we live in a very busy, high tech, and sometimes complicated world . . . it's very easy to forget to stop and smell the roses!

Check out this beautiful card from Tammy using "Hannah"

Diane Ahlers - Guest DT US/Canada Team (Arizona)

My name is Diane. I’ve been married to my husband Tom for 35 years and have three kids (grown), four cats and two adopted guinea pigs. I’m a sucker for cute furry animals. I work in Special Education in an elementary school in Northern Arizona and am looking forward to retirement in just a few years. I started making cards in 2010 and it has become my passion. After a rough day at work nothing is as relaxing as coloring a digi and putting a card together.

And here his Diane's adorable card using "Love you Sis"...

Now this DT call was originally only for the US/Canada Team, but when we received an email from the following stamper, we just HAD to add her, too!

I live in Manchester, England with my boyfriend Jayse & my beautiful 3 year old baby girl. I have worked in the Dance & Theatre industry for over 10 years where I have taught in many local dance schools, some of the Professional Colleges, and worked as a Professional Dancer. I got into Papercrafting around 3 years ago & was instantly hooked! Now after winning Papercrafter of the Year with Simply Cards & Papercrafts magazine I do commissions for them & I have recently set up my own blog. I've had such an amazing & unbelievable response - its been like a whilrwind & I have now accepted onto several design teams. I enjoy stamping & painting with Distress Inks, but more generally what I love about Papercrafting is how you can create such different looks with each project. I can't wait to share papercrafting with you & get to know evenyone too! - Happy Crafting, Deb.x

Make sure to check out her blog to see her amazing creations!

Of course, they whole team will be back next week with a new challenge.
In the mean time, the current challenge is: diecuts and punches

Permanent Design Team

Hi, my name is Tracy from clean green New Zealand. I am married to a very understanding husband! and have two beautiful ratbags. oops I meant to say girls! I have been blogging for a few years now and love the great friendships that come from it. I started out as an SU demo but found it too restrictive. Then I learnt how to go shopping overseas without jumping on a plane.... uh-oh... big mistake!

My most loved craft item for card making would have to be my beloved copics. I am honoured and excited to be a part of Wags n Whiskers design team and can't wait to work with the rest of the talented team to inspire, encourage and showcase these wonderful images.

I've been with my wonderful husband for nearly 18 years. We have two fantastic children and a pussy cat called Mindy (a gorgeous silver tabby)... other than card making, I love cross stitch, scrapbooking and taking photo's.. I also make A-MAZ-ING carrot cake...and im VERY bad at Karaoke - though i think im all that after a couple or three drinks... oh and you should also know that i'm seriously addicted to Harry Potter... and finally although nobody ever believes me.. despite being from Barnsley i've never seen or read "Kez" (the shame )... lol

My name’s Angélique and living in The Netherlands with my cats Jet and Gizmo.
Loved being creative when I was younger and still love it a lot, specially stamping and scrapbooking. Love to work with different kind of stamps: Rubber, acrylic and digital images as well.

As a Kindergartenteacher I can combine being creative with my job which is fab! Love it!
The time I have left is dedicated to my family, friends and cats, being creative, playing flute, shopping (hee… I just looooooove this!) and more. So I’m quite a busy bee.

Guest Designers: August/September

Emma - UK

I have a 14 year old son, Liam, and run with the help of my mum our family bakery here in Manchester. I am addicted to paper crafting and a lot of my cards reflect my skills in cake design and decoration in my style and flower arrangements. I love spending time with my family and share a blog with my mum http://thetwopinkladies.blogspot.com. My favourite style at the moment is shabby chic. I love all things pink, girly and glittery!!!!

Louise - New Zealand

My name is Louise. I am a stay at home Mum to my two little boys and baby girl. I'm also lucky enough to be on some fantastic DT's doing what I love using COPICS and stamps. I hope my creations and tutorials provide inspiration.

Last but not least...

Today we have the last of our Design Team! We are so pleased to have these lovely ladies on our team...

My name is Jeanette and I live in "La Belle Province" Québec, Canada. I am happily married and have 3 little boys who keep me pretty busy! I have always enjoyed all things crafty and discovered the amazing world of stamping about 18 months ago. I fell in love immediately. I adore cute and whimsical stamps and the whole process of creating with them. I am so happy to be part of this incredible and talented team!

I am a wife, mother of three daughters (31, 28, 27) and a 15 year old boy, grandma of two little girls (4 and 5) and a young man (6) who started school this summer. In my freetime (I work in a hospital), I make cards and little paper projects.

Make sure to visit these lovely ladies' blogs and give them a warm welcome to the team! I promise that you will be amazed at their creations!!

Nikki and I will be choosing our Guest Diva!! And we will announce the winner tomorrow!

2 more wonderful ladies....

Oh goodness before I introduce our next two Diva's I just have to say... how cute was Lacey's box and card!

The next two wonderful ladies to join our little family are:

I live in a village just outside Canterbury in Kent (UK), and have been retired for the last 2 years, I have 4 sons and 6 Grandsons and 1 Grandaughter. I discovered stamping about 18 months ago and have been seriously hooked ever since, "Cute" is my weakness. I try to use as many colouring mediums as I can and have phases of using COPICS, Distress Inks and on the odd occasion Prisma's. I am also addicted to flowers and charms on my creations and do not consider a card finished with out them. I have to make at least one card a day or I start to get withdrawal symptoms.

I am an empty nester living in SW Ontario Canada with my hubby and our boxer Layla. I have been stamping for 3 years and my passion is water colouring with Tombow markers. I am so honored to be a Wags 'n Whiskers Diva.

To our visitors who are just joining us now... be sure to check out our first post here where you have the chance to win the complete set of our first release.

I have to tell you... you will be in for a real treat on Wednesday... the design teams samples are ROCKING!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Introducing 2 more Design Divas

Hello there! I hope you are enjoying the introductions to our wonderful design team! The Divas, as we like to call them, have already been working hard behind the scenes making stunning cards with the new images!! Oh, I can barely wait for the release and blog hop on October 9th!!

Today, we will have 2 posts for you. Since today is World Card Making Day..and since our Design Team is from ALL OVER the world... we thought it would be fun to participate in the blog hop! So make sure to check out the other post as well.

But now, I would like to introduce you to 2 more lovely Divas...

I am a very busy working mom of two boys ages 6 and 3. I have always loved all kinds of arts and crafts and I've been stamping for about 10 years now. I am also an experienced nature photographer. I'd say that my style is simple and whimsical images are probably my favorite!

I am a 28 year old girl from Norway. I live on a farm together with my fiancee and our beloved cat. We live by the famous fjord of Hardanger, one of the most beautiful places in Norway. My cards are a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I love both vintage style and clean & simple style. I think the stamps are the reason why I love cardmaking. Since I was a child I always dreamt of being able to draw. Even though I took art classes I never got the hang of it. When I discovered stamps it felt like a revelation to me. Why not let other artists draw the images, and all I have to do is colour them!?! I love it! After trying lots of colouring techniques I know love my Markers and Distress Inks. I have to thank all my family, friends, neighbours, co-workers etc. who buys my handmade cards! It means the world to me that someone likes them and appreciate the work I put into them!

Make sure to go visit their blogs and give them a warm welcome!

Also, don't forget about our blog candy here.

Our first two Designers....

Before we introduce you to our first two designers we would like to say a huge thank you for all of the wonderful messages left on our introduction post. They really mean so much!

As Lacey mentioned yesterday we have the most talented Design Team from all over the world! We now introduce our first two wonderful designers - Inge Groot and Niki Estes.

I am a working mom, married to my high school sweetheart and we have two girls together. We live in the Netherlands in a small town called Bovenkarspel.
As long as I can remember I love being busy with “crafty” things. I fell in love with stamping and the possibilities of stamps in 2003 since then , I must confess ;), I am a rubberaddict! I discovered blogs a couple of years ago and learned so much from a lot of the stamping girls out there. I’m designing for Card Art, High Hopes Rubber Stamps, Magnolia and now being asked to join Wags 'n Whiskers Rubber Stamps is such a big honour. It is so much fun and a great chance to get to know a lot of people from all over the world who are loving to do the same thing… create something nice, share this and have fun doing that.

My name is Niki Estes and I'm from Oregon. I'm married to my high school sweetheart and we have two amazing (and busy) children. I fell in love with stamping a couple years ago. My style is very eclectic; I create things based upon my mood and where inspiration strikes. I am so honored to get to work with Lacey and Nikki as they make their dreams come true with their new stamp company.

We are so excited to have these wonderful ladies on our team! Make sure to visit their blogs and give them a warm welcome!

Also, don't forget about the blog candy that we are offering here if you help us spread the word about our company.

See you tomorrow when we will be back to introduce you to two more of the team :-)
